In response to Nichia’s July 12 press release regarding a patent litigation against EVERLIGHT’s subsidiary Wofi Leuchten in Germany. The case involves Nichia’s EP 0936682 patent and such patent is being adjudicated by German Federal Patent Court for invalidity. As the counterparts of this patent were declared invalid in the U.S. and Taiwan, EVERLIGHT believes the ‘682 patent should be found invalid as well.
